My name is Shelby, known by most as Shelbs. The current chapter of my own story consists of settling into a new life after moving to New York in 2018. Personality-wise, I stand on so many points of the spectrum. The task-oriented part of me establishes clear boxes of differentiation. Like how I purposefully organize my to-do lists in categories by ink color. Yet, the ever-inspired creator in my soul leaps willingly into the void spaces. I have no problem editing in a coffee shop for eight hours. My personal interests are as expansive as my Netflix queue. Creative arts, history, pop culture and so much more. The journey of my life is dense, filled with a range of highs and lows; joy, pain, accomplishment, loss. And I'm grateful for them because they are pieces of my identity.

 

Now here's the honest truth.

I'm not here to tell you who you should be.

 

I'm here to remind you only you can determine that. Creative storytelling is my way of breaking barriers and opening minds. Using my inner light to bridge connections with people and highlighting stories to bring us together. Topics like love, loss, fear, courage, change, growth. Feelings we can all relate to no matter what our background is. Hearing real experiences centered around these topics empowers us to navigate the direction of our own lives. It definitely has for me and I want to pay it forward. At the end of the day, I want you to find power in your own journey!
